Ginny Mousel is the office manager at Dunes Animal Hospital. Ginny has been working in the veterinary field since 1999 and has been at Dunes Animal Hospital since 2008. She lives with her husband, Matt, a son named Jordy, a daughter named Maddie, and an English Bulldog named Higgins. Ginny has a special interest in client education and is especially in tune with the pet owner experience. Thus, count on Ginny to offer a sincere and compassionate touch to all communications. When not working, you will find her on an adventure with her family.



Lauryn was born and raised in Vermillion, SD. She attended Western Iowa Tech. and completed courses in both the Veterinary Assiatant Program and the Police Science Program. She received her Associates Degree in Police Science - Corrections in 2011. She began working at Dunes Animal Hospital in 2008. She resides in Burbank and shares her home on a little acreage with her husband Matt, two sons (Izaak and Korbin), three French Bulldogs (Lola, Buford, and Zoie), one cat (Boris), and 2 Paso Fino Horses (Stormy and Fancy). When she is not working, you will likely find her playing with her dogs, taking her kids to numerous activities, or blazing the trails on her horses. 


Carmen was born and raised in South Dakota. She grew up on a farm around all different types of animals which gave her the inspiration to become a technician. She attended Elk Point-Jefferson and graduated high school in 2009. She attended Globe University in Sioux Falls, SD and received her associates degree in Veterinary Technology in 2011. She lives with her husband David, a Pug named Leo, a Boxer named Jett and a French Bulldog named Frank.


Becca grew up on a farm in Westside, IA with lots of cats and dogs, which helped foster her love for animals. She was employed as server/bartender for 20 years. She decided it was time for a change and went back to school in 2013, at the age of 35. She enrolled in Western Iowa Tech's Vet Assistant program, completed her required internship here at Dunes Animal Hospital in 2014, graduated that same year and hasn't looked back since. She shares her home in North Sioux City with her cat, Baby Girl, who has her very own room.When Becca isn't working, you'll find her cooking, reading or watching scary movies.


Allie grew up in the Dakota Dunes area. She attended Dakota Valley and graduated high school in 2014. She then went on to Sioux Falls to pursue her associates degree in Veterinary Technology at Globe University. She graduated in September of 2017 and has been with the hospital since. Allie spends her time off with her families two American Bulldogs Jack and Maggie.


Kathy joined our hospital as a receptionist in August of 2013. She has been married to her husband Gene for 32 years. They have three kids, five grandkids, a 4 year old Doberman named Sarge, and a 12 year old Morkie named Murphy. Her hobbies include playing cards, working jig saw puzzles, reading mystery and thriller books, and watching thriller and mystery movies. Kathy and Gene are also members of the American Legion Riders out of LeMars and love to ride their bike every chance they get.


Alyssa was born and raised in Sioux City. She graduated from East High and then briefly attended Wayne State College but decided to transfer to Western Iowa Tech where she could pursue a degree in Veterinary Technology. She has three pets, a dog and 2 cats. Alyssa has a soft spot for special needs animals. Outside of work, she enjoys reading and yoga.

Dr. Chad took his time and gave us options for the care of our pet. He did not direct us towards unecesary procedures. He is a fine vet and I highly recommend his clinic for all your pets need.
